Mark your Calendars for the First Meeting of the Gold Coast Coin Club!!

It is fairly certain that the first meeting will be on Wednesday, November 7th at North Shore High School, 450 Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head, NY, Room A4.

I am just waiting on getting the liability insurance policy for the club, otherwise we have the room at the high school.

Please let me know if you can attend. Meetings will run from 7pm to 9pm, the first Wed of the month.

Aw, c'mon guys, starting a coin club from scratch isn't easy.

The "gold coast" is a common term for the north shore of long island.

It at least was a major club in FL, I have quite a few hardbound volumes from their library, when they liquidated it years ago.

The first meeting will take place as scheduled tomorrow, November 7th at 7pm at the North Shore HS, 450 Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head, Long Island. We will meet in room A4, right by the entrance. Plenty of parking.

Hi, Just a word of advice, make sure if you become a non-profit club have your treasure file a federal tax return. Our local club is working with the IRS as members that are no longer with the club forgot to file the federal tax forms at the end of the year a few years back. The IRS can also requires a copy of each months minutes if they want so take detailed minutes. Better to be safe than sorry.
