    Thanks William!

Hi Rusty! ... I have discovered that there are also similar coins struck for
the USS CONSTITUTION, HMS Cutty Sark, and Golden Hind. I have a medal
made of salvaged brass/bronze? of USS CONSTITUTION! The Tuvalu coin
would look very nice together w/the medal, in some shadow box arrangement!
    Oh my..

Yes, I also have the Mayflower and the rest of the coins in this very fine "Ships that Changed the World" 5-coin series. I think the scales in each are laser-cut, not minted in a coin press. You can see them all at the Perth Mint or Talisman Coins websites.

I got mine slabbed PCGS (specified to label the reverse side, as all obverses are QE2) even though I have to carefully fold the certs and tape them to the back, because I enjoy looking at the series that way rather than in their boxes.

    Thanks Fountainhead!

My first visit to the Perth Mint website. Great place! Learned that the 5th
sailing ship was the "Santa Maria." Cool! I didn't think the "Titanic" fit
    the theme... LOL...

Unfortunately, the Santa Maria shows "Sold Out." As does the Mayflower.
    Who wudda thought, huh?? image

Oh...I also learned that my recent PCGS Mayflower win was a huge RIP! I feel
guilty (a little, but not THAT much) and a little sorry for her consignor..

All the coins can still be purchased at Talisman. I like the Santa Maria best and here's mine:

Unfortunately it is also the most expensive.
