Heritage make offer to owner

Has anyone who made an offer on an item through the Heritage website, even heard back yes or no from the "owner"?

I've made a few offers, never heard anything back. Seems a waste of time.

I have sold this way. The buyers made a serious offer- like the coin
was more important than money. Dont expect to hear much on a grey
sheet offer thought- come with the green stuff !!

I'd got an offer on a coin once. I hit the accept button, but neverheard anything else after that. Maybe they expected the coin first. I don't know.

Someone made a offer to me and I took the offer. Should get my check in about 2 weeks.

I've received a request to buy two of my coins that I won
at a heritage auction several years earlier.
    I declined to sell either.

It surprised me receiving the offers, as I wasn't aware of this
    feature.

I purchased a 1921 Peace Dollar that way that had a look I liked. I made an offer and got an acceptance back within a few hours. The coin showed up a week or so later. I'm 1 for 1 using the feature so far. I have several coins that I would accept an offer on, but I haven't received any.

I have one purchase and one sale through "make offer to owner". I admittedly have spent little tile with it.

A person made me an offer on a coin less than 24 hours after I won an auction, probably the underbidder. I paid the highest price EVER for a PCGS MS 66FB 1945-Micro S Merc that was blast white and a possible candidate for a +...

I accepted the offer that was 10% more than what I paid.

I had to pay for the coin. I called Heritage and told them NOT to ship the coin to me because of the offer and my acceptance. The new buyer had to then pay the higher price for the coin to Heritage. The buyer had to have the coin shipped to him and he had to accept it. Then 45 days later(due to holidays and show travel)....I got my payment back...plus the 10%. So I made 10% on my money in 45 days and never had to ship a thing or pay for any shipping(this required an extra phone call to Heritage to get corrected due to the unusual circumstances so quickly after the auction).
