This is a message I received from PCGS "Your coin is too thick for our secure plus machine. Please reply to this email with your authorization to process your coin without the secure plus service and with our photo service instead. There will be no additional fees required"
Not sure that will make a huge difference with a coin commanding this type of premium. Nice, but no thanks; hopefully this will usher in some nice high relief pieces of other designs and by other competing mints.

I kept one on display in my den for a week or so just to admire it.
It's well packaged as well in a grey faux leather display case.
