If the damage is fairly minor, you might be only down to EF money. If it's pretty bad, maybe Fine money. If the coin has a lot of detail, but is all chewed up or corroded to the point where the surfaces look a sponge, the Good or even the Fair price might be appropriate

Sorry if my question rattled your cage Perry. The question was intended to be rhetorical, as I am still pursuing this actively. Thus my remark " Pics if and when in hand". Maybe I shoulda bolded that quip for ya. If I land this coin, y'all will be in for a pleasant surprise. No worries here.
