This came in the mail today. I had another thread about it, but this deserves its own. I purchased this coin for a really nice price on a buy it now on really bad photos. The coin is really cool on a couple of levels. first, it has just great obverse and reverse toning. The reverse is typical red and green bag toning, while the obverse is more of a splendid album tone. The coin was certified exactly 26 years ago yesterday, and you can see the toning in the black and white photos from 1986, and it has not changed one bit. The red capital holder is the first one I've come across with the ANACS photo certificates. I have several clear holders but not a red. This coin was a toner before toners were really cool.

Here are my thoughts on the coin. The coin does have some chatter in the fields and a few minor hits on the cheek. I believe the coin is an MS64 by today's standards.

Which I didn't notice. The only less positive aspect which caught my eye at all was the fingerprint on the obverse, but even that doesn't leap out at you.

I would tend to agree, if not think it perhaps has a shot at 65.
That will fit nicely is any ones Morgan set.
