St. Louis - Greater America Coin Fair - Feb. 10-12

Anybody have list of dealers at this show, or any suggestions on who to visit for Seated and/or Bust dimes?

Thanks!

  • Went yesterday (Friday) and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of local , regional and national dealers. A bit crowded in the aisles. Free parking and only a $1 admission charge -- waived if you had a coin club membership card from anywhere. Dealers were not as cranky as at ANA or CSNS.

Saw lots of 19th century type with a few dealers. More than I was expecting or was used to seeing at the last several shows I have attended. The Gary Adkins inventory looked promising, but just didn't have exactily what I was seeking. Their rep said the company website had extensive 19th century type with images, so I'll take a look at that. Met William Shamhart (Numismatic Americana Inc) and he had the largest inventory of high grade PCGS 3 cent Silver peices that I had ever seen -- as well as lots of other goodies. Here was a dealer who really took his time and explained things to a customer and compared different coins. So -- I bought THE 3 cent silver coin of my dreams from him. I am anticipating repeat business with this dealer.
