1967 Dexter Press Yastrzemski question

I noticed Beckett and some other online sites say Yastrzemski has two 1967 Dexter Press cards--a regular and an all-star version. PSA Set Registry only lists one "Premium" version in it's Yaz master set.

Are there really two versions, and if so, what differentiates the two? (An "all-star" logo or stipe, different text, different pictures?)

All my online searches for 1967 Yaz Dexter Press cards come up with same image-no differences. Most make no mention of an all-star version--and the one place I found where the image was labeled as an all-star--the pictures (front and back) looked identical to images of all other Dexter Press Yaz cards I have seen.

Can any Yaz collectors or Dexter Press experts shed light on this?

I would be grateful for any help.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Manny (Flatfoot816) would probably be the best one to ask.

It may have something to do with the 1983 Starliner cards...

    I would start there...

many have referred to "these" as Dexter Press for some reason...

I think maybe the pictures are the same??

    dont know for sure...

The All-star version has a lengthier bio on the back, according to the Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards.

Many thanks! Is that version (the all-star) rarer than the regular version? I have one that (including the line with name and position) has 10 lines of text. I wonder which one I have?

I don't know which one you have, but the AS version is apparently more common because it is listed at $12, while the other one is $15.

    Yaz
    The SCD lists the...
AS version at $12 NRMT, $6 EX
regular version at $15 NRMT, $7.50 EX

    PS
only 9 of the 12 AS versions have different bios
bios of Bunning Mays and Santo are the same in both versions

all the sticker versions (16) are not authentic to the Era, and are knock offs made in 1983 and have little to no value

edited to say this webpage show the 10 line Yaz and calls it the AS version

Curious--must mean those 3 with identical bios--can be called either--no one would know which one they have. Hope they are priced the same--would be crazy if they were priced differently when they are identical in every aspect.

    Many thanks again.

I had seen that website/image in my earlier search--it was the only image I found that called itself an "all-star" version. It is identical to mine--so the only question remaining would be--is that person sure they have the all-star version.image

Found an image on that same website of the regular Yaz Dexter Press.

It only has a 6 line text back.

MYSTERY SOLVED--thanks again to all who added input!

Im guessing the only way to know for sure which set the Santo Mays and Bunning is from is when they were still found in their AS or Team sets. I believe these were all issued in sets and Im sure the AS set was the most popular thus the most plentiful. I havent owned any of them in 30+ years, so just guessin
