Great text message chain between myself and InitialD

Bill had sent me a private message on SCN last Saturday about another topic but mentioned that he was at a Pedro Martinez signing on MA at the time. I sent him a text message and the chain that followed is awesome:

VitoCo1972 via PM: That's great. Was it free? I'm probably going to pay the $130 to get my 99 ASG ball done when Sure Shot has him.

InitalD via Text: $130 for Pedro thru Sure shot?!!!

VitoCo1972: For ball plus inscription in January. Just announced. Want me to send link? Or were you saying that the price is nuts? I need ASG ball for my MVP set.

InitialD: Dude...Take your wife out to dinner!!!!

VitoCo1972: I don't live in the hub anymore. HA!I can't get to the awesome free signings! I'm stuck with the 80's Lakers and Dodgers.

Pretty cool of Bill to remember that I was collecting that ASG ball set. Wound up saving me a big fee in January! Merry Christmas indeed! Thanks Bill, that was pretty f'ing awesome.

    Let me tell ya board, that Mike certainly does more than his fair share of helping out and returning the favor. Plenty of members here know that

    I'm just glad that I was able to find that Fenway ball on short notice and that you could use it for your collection

    That is an AWESOME story, but once again I know why I don't text. Trying to understand what was actually happening by following the texts made me feel like the stewardess in Airplane when she was helping the 2 guys speaking jive. . .
