    I have a kindle for reading on trips. I like it, easy to use and on amazon the kindle book selection is amazing. Plenty of free kindle books or special offers on kindle books and most of the classics are free. New best sellers can be pricey so I avoid those for kindle. The charge lasts a long time - I have kept it out and used a fair amount for up to a month without charging it. If you are looking for a straight ereader this would be a good choice. If you are looking for a tablet you may want to look at the ipad or at least the Kindle Fire.

    I'm a big reader and have tried them all. As artist said, ipad.....definitely ipad.
