Old World Series Footage?

Not sure whether this matches up better under "Sports Talk" or here, so sorry if I'm posting in the incorrect category.

I was curious if anyone had any experience obtaining footage of old World Series games. I'm 30 and am a big fan of Eddie Mathews and been reading about the Braves postseason campains. Since I was never lucky enough to live in an era to watch/hear the games live, I'd like to find some old footage of particulary the 57 series and 58. I've seen various items on Amazon, but some mention only partial footage/highlights. I'd love to sit and watch the whole game as if I was sitting back in a decade that I didn't belong in.

Has anyone found a reliable source for these, or seen any that might be better quality than the rest?

I just saw a link a few days ago on Youtube that featured the 1957 Braves World Series. I am at work so I cannot tell if the links by Dboneesq is the same one's I saw. Searh YouTube and you will be shocked at all the great footage that is out there

you tube is the best venue.remember running home from school (not to far) to catch the last inning of larsen's perfect game in 1956.prior year he was 3-21 with orioles.

I agree that you tube is a great place to look. However, I don't think you will find complete games like the OP was looking for.

I think you're correct, Doug. It has been extremely difficult to find any thing that resembles a complete game.

The links you provided do have some promise, though, so thanks! I'll most likely order what they have for DVD.

Would have loved to have seen Larsen's perfect game! Hopefully I'll catch part of it on one of these discs.
