What kind is Scam is this? Help Please !!!!

Afternoon,

I got this E-Mail today and am totally confused. The two items mentioned are from two different buyers from over a year ago, but its too soon to open a case? Huh WTF?. I couldn't find these sales if I wanted to, I'd have to sift though thousands of sold items, one sold for probably $1 buck and the other $10-$20. And somebody (2 Somebody's actually, the same day) are going to contact E-Bay after 14 months that their item didn't arrive? WTF am I missing????
They are legitimate items and I even think I recognize one of the E-Bay ID's as somebody who bought from me several times, 1-2 years ago.

By working directly with the buyer, you'll be able to provide good customer service, and may be able to avoid a case being opened.

Here are some ways to help avoid a case for an item not received:


Ship with tracking (and signature confirmation for items $250 and above) and upload the tracking information right away.
Print your shipping label on eBay or PayPal. Tracking information is automatically uploaded for you and your buyer.
Ship within your stated handling time.
If there's a shipping delay, let the buyer know.

OK, now I know its a scam, I checked my E-Bay messages and its not there, so scam E-Mail.

But what is the point of this and if they can use info about my past Sales, what else could somebody do??

I got one too. Didn't see the point of someone sending a spoof email and using a year+ old transaction as the reference point. Maybe it's just an ebay glitch?

Must be the day for it, just got this one as well, not in my E-Bay Box, no know its bogus. But once again....Why...What's the point or intended outcome? Is there something if I click on the several spots in the E-Mail that you are highlighted it will do something to my computor? Not about to find out!!!
