Anyone know a resource for card quantity in 1970's / 1980's wax packs?

Does anyone have a good reference that specifies how many cards are in the wax packs for the various sports from the 1970's and early 1980's?
I have my eye on a few things at the BBCE web-site, but most packs do not say the # of cards on the wrapper.
Specifically, I am interested in 1976/1977 basketball (the larger cards), but i am also interested in several years of late 1970's football wax.
I seem to remember 15 cards per pack, but I don't recall what years that was valid.
Thanks in advance.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
<< <i>Interesting that the 1978-1980 racks are listed with one more card than the header card count. What does the asterisk signify? I've found that racks from this year often do include one or two additional cards, >>
I'll have to go find the magazine but I think it says the asterisk means the advertised # of cards was less than actual so you are correct sir.
