Here is what your looking for. If your going to order, get as many as you can take, as they charge $16.95 or something like that to mail them. I love mine, wish I had more.

    $8.00 shipping for 1; $14.00 for 5; $20.00 for 10. Cost of the holders is $5.00 each.

  • If you have a local coin store be sure and check that out before you buy them. A lot of them will sell these stands for coins and they should work just fine for cards. And it should be cheaper than ordering them online.

'61 Topps Roy Campanella in PSA 5-7
    Cardinal T206 cards
    Adam Wainwright GU Jersey
  • Thanks for the info. I have seen stands that were like a small triangle that I figured I could buy for less than 1.00

You know it would make sense for PSA to include with the membership fees maybe 2 stands and a storage box. At 5.00 a pop thats kinda crazy.

That's a great idea. I would much rather have that than another book that I'm not interested in because I collect football not baseball. PSA could even give you the option to select between a couple of different packages.
  • I came across these while doing an internet searcg. Scroll down to ites PD 10 and PD 11.
$1.30 seems like a decent price.

Would the card just lay against the plastic or does it go into the "slots" like the PSA one does. If you want it to fit into the slots, both of these two stands are too small, as a PSA "normal" holder is, I believe, 3 1/8" wide.

  • I have tried 2 different styles in my displays.

Here is my Walter Payton display to date...
    image

You can see there are 2 different styles. A 1 piece "V" which are great for "horizontal" cards. For the "vertical" display, I recommend the 2 piece display stand you see in the very front. They work best, as the "V" shaped 1 piece tend to be a little top heavy.

You can get the 2 piece stands for about 22.00dlvd for 100 of them.

I bought a bunch of these on ebay a couple of years ago. They are cheap, and they work great.

edit to add: I dusted after I saw the original pics.

Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

  • Not to be an ass, but besides the "made in China" stamp, I like these alot. Are they top heavy as Pit mentioned about his one piece?

China? I knew that looked bad in the picture, but I didn't want to hide it. All of this stuff is made there - even Topps cards.

PSA slabs are a little top heavy in the stand. SGC and Beckett slabs are less so. I don't have any trouble with them falling over, though.
