Finished My First Set Ever & Its The #1 Rated Set

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share and can't believe that I actually stuck to something in order to finish. The set in question is the 1967 Topps Pin Ups which consists of 32 thin paper inserts that were folded four times in order to get them into some 1967 baseball packs. These are extremely difficult in high grade with PSA 8s having pops of two to five and 80% of all submitted are less than PSA 6. I have been collecting raw copies for about 5 years and finally got around to subbing them.

Here are a couple highlights from the set. Enjoy!

I also picked up this 67 Topps Box that featured the Pin Ups in the packs...

Great job on finishing the set Jeff and number one to boot!!!

Insert sets are always hard to complete in a high grade as most people were more interested in the cards and trashed the inserts. Not me of course. image

Very nice Jeff. I really like the look of them slabbed. I have had my raw set for quite a while (nowhere near the condition of your set) ... maybe this thread will cause me to get them slabbed!
    STAY HEALTHY!

I loved those as kids . I'm glad PSA relaxed the crease knock down . ? It is absolutely a stroll down memory lane , for me.

Congratulations on finishing your set AND being # 1. Thankyou for sharing.--- Sonny

    Thanks guys...

Jason...the pin ups are 5 x7 so the slabs are bigger than that. They look great on a shelf or wall.

Brett...if I could ever find the last 56s that I need I would buy them. If you have some leads let me know.

    Jeff
