  • Unless you know what you are doing I would be very careful buying anything raw for that much. Maybe not so much that it is trimmed(which it could be), but more that the auto could be bad.

    Or both!
  • It's a high feedback seller, the card does have a "general" JSA LOA from an auction lot. I'd deal with the seller to see about a return policy if the card is not from 1941 or the auto is fake as deemed by PSA. Maybe do a PSA Quick Opinion prior to it all.
  • do you think $900 is too much?
  • What I would do (and what ive done in the past on numerous items) is that Ill make a low ball offer. There probably gonna hit you up with a counter offer. Then Id come back with an offer somewhere between my original and there counter and even offer to pay them directly though paypal to save THEM eBay fee's. If they really want to sell it and your offer is decent, they will.

I only do this for sellers who have either 99 or 100% feedback and I also usually tend to read feedback to make sure transactions with the seller are smooth. If you decide to do that, please keep in mind that this is at your discretion.

First, see what other Joe D cards are selling for auto'd. Also check out what the card is going for and then go from there. I would offer $700. If he bites, great! If not - then the highest I would go is 800...maaaybe 850 but when you make your offer (include a note that your offer is with shipping included.

Oh, and 1 more thing. Remember that he has a "best offer" thing so hes not expecting to get 900 either.

    Goodluck.

may be a bit too high, but its a nice looking card.

DiMaggio sigs are never going to be scarce, and most wouldnt have their R336 card signed... to some, its now a damaged card.

For a R336, the sig only adds slightly to the value of the card, if anything at all. Its a different story if it were a Exhibit card, as it would make the card worth 10X more.
  • Can't vouch for the signature one way or the other
Good seller though, he will work with you
You could get a Quick Opinion if that means anything to you.
At the end of the day it's still just an opinion

  • I have purchased from the seller many times, and I have been very happy with the transactions.

Not sure of the value of the card though
