I have dilemma and would like the boards advice.

I have a deal struck to purchase a very major high grade card, but to do so, I am going to have to sell off a large portion of my unopened collection, as well as 7-10 cards with approximate value of $200-$450 ea. I am looking to do this rather quickly to replace the money I am using to make the purchase, as well as maximize my return. How do you go about the sell off:
A. Sell it all on the BST boards
B. Send it to Probstein in one big lot, and let his reputation take over and hope for some higher than normal returns via EBay?
Thanks for input.

<< <i>A, and have two of the 7-10 cards with approximate value of $200-$450 be your '63 and '64 Topps Clementes. >>
Jason, I am going to try like hell not to sell my 62 or 64 Clemente's. I am going to get around to submitting both for review someday.
Drop me a list of what you're looking to sell. I may be interested or at the worst, let you "pawn" them...
<< <i>Thanks for the input, I guess everyone is in agreement that A is the way to go. I am surprised, I as kind of leaning towards just sending it all to Probstein. So, I will give it a go and start putting the list up on the BST boards.

Im guessing the unopened is modern (ie Topps), but is any of it PreWar? if so Net54 B/S/T is the fastest way to sell and often for more than what an auction would bring on eBay. Pick your price, its free. Ive often sold cards in less than 10 minutes (about 20% of my cards listed), and close to 1/2 are gone within 2-3 hours. But I dont try to get 110% of their value either. I give fair prices. some just put crazy 2X their value prices, and the stuff sits.
they also have categories for 1950-80 cards I believe but I dont follow it much so dont know how many hits/sales they get. it wouldnt hurt to throw it up their for 1/2 a day and see, you can always edit them out later if you go auction way.
Im so curious on what your big card would be (the one you want to buy),
I hope its a truly rare card, and not one of them "condition scarcities" pseudo rare cards (ie a 1968 PSA10 Koosman/Ryan etc)
