Vintage Boston Celtics Championship Ashtray - Help Identify?

I obtained this ashtray (is that what it is?) via auction last year as part of an unnoticed lot from a seller that didn't have any other sports stuff. Included in the lot were many ten or so other Celtics autographs, including a Bill Russell and multiple Sam Jones autographs. Anyways, the one non-signed and non-paper item was this ashtray - which was wrapped up and gifted to someone by Sam Jones. Anyways, I have no idea if the ashtray is rare or if it is of any significance. It is is mint condition (pardon my crappy phone picture) and is approximately 6" x 8". I see that a couple are on eBay from two different championship seasons - but it still doesn't let me know if these are rare, how they were distributed, etc. Any ideas? Thanks again for the help!
