a bit OT: ebay question

When I'm signed in on ebay and look at one of my auction items, the "time left" clock does not tick down, but when I'm signed out, it does. Is this a glitch, or is it supposed to be like that?

  • Clock only ticks for other auctions I looks at but not mine either.

Thanks. I wonder why that is?
  • Probably because they don't want sellers trying to place bids on their own items.

Well, that would be about the only thing they do to prevent it.
