This is exactly why PSA 9 OC cards should get way more credit!!!!

PSA 9 OC Curly

I don't collect any of these cards but this is a fantastic looking card and by registry standards is only a PSA 7 but check out the price.

I think cards like this with fantastic eye appeal and super sharp corners should get more respect.

Clearly the collectors chasing it agree!

Have no idea why that card is considered OC!
  • Whoever graded that one OC should be looking for work just like Joe Pa should
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

Some wise guy graded it, I'll bet. Nyuk nyuk.

We have some pro's on the board that could measure this. It looks 65/35 to me so it is not a PSA 9 but this is a stunner.

This is exactly what the so called OC qualifier is meant to do and say that a card does not quite make a straight PSA 9 but it is dramatically nicer then a PSA 7.

I think I would grade this an 8.5 because it is much nicer then a PSA 8 but the centering is just a touch off.

    Absolutely awesome card!!!

That is a fact of the card getting that money, and not the flip!!!

If I was the super rich guy Twinight I would pay whatever it takes to win this one and keep it in the holder it is in to make his Pop 1 PSA 9 keep going up in value.

Why risk having your Pop 1 blown up because this is clearly a PSA 8.5 for sure on a regrade or by chance a PSA 9.

Glad I don't collect cards in this price range nor can I afford them!

  • That was a sweet Curly.

    I love the Stooges.

Man ... the power of the registry (or maybe not). It's amazing that only four people thought the card was worth more than ONE thousand and it sells for over FOUR thousand. Just shows you only need a couple of people who want the card to get a crazy price.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
