Question about authenticating a autograph

Recently someone I know has had a Signing for David Tyree, and another one in a week for Jason Pierre-Paul.
I want to get some memorabilia certified so I have proof that it is real if I ever want to sell it.
Where do I go to get a autograph certified?

<< <i>For those players, I wouldn't spend the money on PSA or similar authentication. I would ask whoever conducted the private signing to provide certificates of authenticity.

Jason Pierre Paul is a rising star and has 9.5 sacks in the regular season half way in. hes on pace for a total of 20 sacks at seasons end.
The conducter of the sigining is promoting he's business so certificates aren't given out. It's all free.

Is there an easier way than sending the item in the mail?
Get pictures of the signing event. If the signatures look as they should and your provenance is reasonable under the circumstances, you will have a better net result on sale than if you had spent the money for authentication.
