This is a group rip, right? Is anyone other than me actually going to open their packs?

My back finally cooperated with me so here are my packs. These packs were in great condition and I hope you enjoy the scans as they will only be ripped over my dead body. Or if Eric sneaks in while I'm in a drunken stupor.
Always loved the Stearns RB card as a Mets fan...
I didn't scan the backs of the 77 and 79 cellos as there was no one of interest showing. Thanks again to Seth and Steve for another successful box break!!!

Mike, I love the Duffy Dwyer pack. BTW what is that thumb nail mark on your Lou Piniella pack? I had the same thing on mine, but it was located on the middle sleeve.

Factory machine mark from the loaders. I've gotten those many times, especially on cellos. They usually occur on dead centered, 10-worthy cards, rendering them worthless.

Thanks Bobby. Like Bob said, they are what I like to refer to as "machine notches" which could occur during the packaging process. Another thing I've noticed ripping some rack packs which had cards on top with the machine notch, is that those sections had an extra card in them. This might not always be the case, but in a majority the rack packs I opened did which would explain why the machine notch appears on some rack packs and not others. Since there is an extra card in that section, the machine catches either the top or bottom card in that section damaging it.

<< <i>I'm bummed, I still don't have my packs, actually a little worried, I paid on Monday and Steve's stuff normally takes 2 days to get to me >>
I usually get my packs two or three days after payment, but still don't have mine either. I emailed Steve and he said my packs should show on Monday. Hopefully yours will, too.
There are 2 77 Cellos and 1 79 Cello available due to non-payment. Does anyone want them?

So I opened that second '78 rack. overall pretty nice cards, not a lot of star power. I'm not sure if anything is worth grading. The vida blue the stolen base, and sizmemore looks the best to me (lyle was pretty good too).
Those three unpaid packs are going to show up on Mr. Bobo's table pretty soon.

No dice here either. Unusual in that I always receive stuff from them in 2-3 days. This goes to 11/7....I think....at least that was my paypal trans....
I did get a shipment from BBCE from an order on Monday 11/14 yesterday.
Even though he only bought two cellos and Steve packs them like eggs, that's a lot of damage.

The packs seem OK. Two 79 Cellos. One with Tippy Martinez on top, and the other with Rangers prospects on top (Danny Darwin, Billy Sample). Both packs are BRICKS, and will not be opened. I also won an Ebay item that I had them ship with this rip, and even that PSA slab is fine. Thankfully they packed everything into the middle of that box.

Meanwhile, there are still 3 packs left that no one has picked up. Is this going to be a problem in organizing group rips in the future?
Lou B. and Billy the Yank on the front
Eck on the back
Other pack wasn't as star filled, so I decided to rip it (next post)
Do I grade any of these?
Catfish and Sparky to start
Dwight Evans
and some good randoms
Wife gave me the bad news again from the road!
