I ask you, what sort of album would produce these "stunning" colors?

An album is necessary only if you wish to do it slowly.... there are faster methods to achieve that effect - and likely used in the case of that coin. Cheers, RickO

We need a definition of "abum" here

Eric

chumley · September 12, 2011 11:17PM

that,s typical album toning........if you keep your albums at three mile island

Shamika · September 12, 2011 11:24PM

Blow torch?

Bankerbob56 · September 13, 2011 12:39AM

Pokermandude · September 13, 2011 2:48AM

Easy bake oven

keyman64 · September 13, 2011 3:00AM

Did you mean to ask what kind of oven was used?

OldEastside · September 13, 2011 3:04AM

Maybe Papa Smurf will chime in on that one

crazyhounddog · September 13, 2011 3:32AM

It appears as though it was in Walter White's coin album and he left it at the lab.....

Album equals oven?

coindeuce · September 13, 2011 9:22AM

Maybe an album that belonged to a worker at the Fu-ku-shima power plant after the tsunami?

Justlooking · September 13, 2011 9:27AM

I don't care if they're the commonest of common dates. Even on a 1964 nickel, this kind of thing makes me sick!

blu62vette · September 13, 2011 9:30AM

He also shows 2 different reverses....

TexasNationals · September 13, 2011 9:31AM

A baking sheet album

LindeDad · September 13, 2011 10:02AM

Russet....

Myqqy · September 13, 2011 10:36AM

I love 1878 Morgans, and that 7tf he has was probably a cool coin before it got baked... I was selling a Morgan recently on ebay, and it was holdered in one of those old, sweet, large photo certified holders with the photo of the coin inside the plastic. Ebay took down the auction because i had made the mistake of putting the grade in the title- nevermind that it's actually a little undergraded. But they let misrepresented day-glo toners stay on auction...
