Show Me Some Seated Dollars

Soooo, while working at stacks I've seen all sorts of things come in, but barely any seated dollars - I think one XF with a hole and two in VG/F with a few rim bumps. It's also been a few months since the last purchase. Anybody have any seated dollars to share? I'll post our most recent (and highest graded) seated dollar - a purchase from TDNs second set of seated dollars, the 1859:

Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the holed dollar come over the counter I immediately thought of you, LordM.

Was just thinking about @speety and wanted to bring up some old threads and coins to enjoy.
I purchased an almost complete set of business Strike Liberty Seated Dollars from 1840 to 1873 by date and mint mark approximately five years ago. This was the collection of a collector named W. Earl Spies.
Like many old time Seated Dollar collectors, Spies also had a collection of Proof Seated Dollars that had been sold at an earlier date(!). W. Earl Spies passed away in 1979.
The business strike collection averaged close to AU in grade.
Spies is best known for his collection of Early Silver Dollars 1794-1803 by die marriage and die state. This extensive collection was sold in a public auction sale by Stack's in December 1974.
The Seated Dollar collection had been put together by Spies in the 1950s and 1960s. The coins were stored for decades in 2X2 envelopes (no tissue paper or poly bags used). As a result the toning was mostly attractive and uniform.
A set of six Wayte Raymond coin boards was purchased, and the coins were inserted in the holders. I sold the collection "raw" and in the Wayte Raymond boards, the old fashioned way.
Here is a photo of the first board, the Spies 1840 to 1846-O Dollars (8 coins).

@shish, your 1863 Silver Dollar in my opinion was by far the best Dollar in the Spies business strike Seated Dollar Collection for both eye appeal, surfaces, and (condition) rarity!
**Great coin!!! ** Thanks for sharing the photo.

A great old thread, but alas, one I cannot add to. The perfect seated dollar for my collection has yet to appear, but there are some stunners in this thread in many different grades for all to aspire to.
