List of Stolen Coins in a Major Salt Lake City Burglary

Just got this email from the Numismatic Crime Info Center (which everyone should subscribe to and donate to, BTW).

There are some killer coins on the list. Let's do what we can to nab the bad guy(s) on this one:

MAJOR BURGLARY - SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH



The Salt Lake City , Utah police department is investigating a residential burglary that netted the suspects a large coin collection.

    I'm not sure these thefts are any more frequent than they used to be.

    What is certain is that the Internet is great at quickly speading the word about them to large numbers of people who can potentially help. And that is a good thing for all of us who read these boards.

    edited to add...this is not a laughing matter, not trying to make sport of the dealers loss, mind you, as we ARE seeing this happen alot
