I got a Seated Dollar today to complete the set. I think I've been working on this for 5-6 years. It has been fun, but I'm glad I finally got the last coin. I haven't been too motivated with this set lately, but I do feel a sense of accomplishment having finally come to a conclusion with this thing. I'll probably let it sit a while and maybe get some upgrades and weed out some of the cleaned coins at a later date.
I created a 'virtual' image of the coins since it is very difficult to photograph an entire page of coins. I also have a few coins that I have decided not to crack out. But it is a great set to show to friends and family who aren't into coins.
Here's a collage of the actual album with a few of the slabbed coins pasted into place:

And here's the 'virtual' image of the coins:

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

That must be an awesome feeling. I have 16 more to go.
Again, contests and great images. The set is very well matched.

I like that the commems have the same circ. look as the rest of the set.

Practice makes perfect & nobody is perfect. So, practice being nobody.
My set's been missing 3 or 4 coins for a couple years now. I need to stop goofing around and finish it.
I couldn't get the slabs to fit in the holes like you did.
much appreciated.
What's next?
I'm thinking Indian Head Cents or Barber Dimes or maybe even gettin' into some Gold coins! I'll probably need to cut back and sell-off some of my collection before heading off in a different direction. I seem to have accumulated a bunch of stuff I no longer care to even look at.

Shouldn't they add:
2009 commem cent
shield cent
2004-2005 commem nickel
front facing nickel
national parks quarter
president dollar
native dollar
Did I miss any?

<< <i>Nice! This set interests me. Looks like Dansco needs to update the album though.

Your set is wonderful. I really like the look of the older coins. Crusty, original and with lots of eye appeal.
The 7070 is a labor of love for me.
Congrats.

How tempted are you to crack those 4 slabs and fill the holes? I know I would.
Lance.
I was not familiar with the selection in the 7070 "major" type set album, but they are quite similar to the coins in my type set (i.e. reasonably affordable and different).
The only coins I think the 7070 is missing in this theme are:
- 1837 (or 1838-O) no stars half dime
- 1837 no stars dime
So those might be things you could add if you think they would fit in well.
I may attempt it one day. I just finished a 20th century type set in a Whitman folder.
Sugar magnolia blossoms blooming, heads all empty and I don't care ...
Might want to include those in the future. A nice 1890cc dollar would go well and replace
that mundane Philly.
