Does anybody know:
1) Did they make a final decision on the design for the 2011 1 oz. Proof Platinum Eagles yet?
2) Did they submit the required study that must be done before the 1 oz. bullion Palladium Eagles are to be produced?
Just askin. Thanks.

I hope they have a final design.

I assumed that since it was going on sale soon there would be a picture of the design that was picked. I guess I should have known better. Gotta luv the mint!

SNMAN,
Could you please provide the steps you took to convert the URL I provided to the "linky" in this world of "Collectors Universe." I tried, but was not successful.
Thanks!
2. the law specifies that one will be made or not made, as determined by the marketing study.
I hear that the marketing study contract is about to be or just has been awarded. (We're in the neighborhood of that point of the process. I'm not 100% where.)
So.... there is still a way to go.

Agreed, I have always loved the winged LIBERTY head design, and that reverse eagle is one of the most beautiful designs ever.
Does anyone know whether or not we'll get the Minuteman design for the plat eagle next year? The Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) choose an awful eagle and shield design over the Minuteman design that I think all collectors actually want. Ugh, do we really need another eagle w/shield design :? I would prefer nearly half of the submitted designs to the eagle and shield.
