David Lawrence's Barber Halves & Quarters (new) *HARDBACK* books....& 1883 Hawaiian 10c PCGS

The most elusive, Harback 1st edition of the Halves book, inscribed: "Best wishes, Dave."

Complete Guide to Barber Halves by David Lawrence, inscribed by Dave-- HARDBACK

The second edition Quarters, unopened, in the shrink wrap or whatever you call it, this one is not inscribed (felt I needed to point that out)

Complete Guide to Barber Quarters by David Lawrence-- HARDBACK

Had to put a Barber up for sale, a specialist's specialty for sure...

1883 Hawaiian Dime in OGH VF20

I'm getting a little bit sentimental as I type this last line.... but such are the turns of life....

Sorry but I had to put them on ebaY for fair market value, I don't know if a PM could make me take an auction down, never have yet.

Sky's the limit on your David Lawrence's Barber Halves HB as I'm out of the race on that one.

It's the first hardcover I've seen in 5 years and just now looking on Amazon softcovers are listed @ $123.00 to $495.00.

I'm just excited to see what your book will net at the end... Good luck! image

Thanks so much, it is hard to let go of in one respect, but I 've not been a real numismatic bibliophile. And not a hoarder by nature, so if someone else can enjoy it, they can be the custodian for a while. I hope a collector wins it. It has been an absolute delight to meet and get to know all of the Barber fans here on the forum and some through ebaY as well.

PS ebaY user: cadianshopping thanks for the retracted bid (NOT) on the Hawaiian dime. $150.00 'entered wrong amount' Sure, right. 1500.00 I can understand. Bid retractions for top-shopping make me image

the two hardbacks are very scarce
and I also am interested in seeing where
the book on Halves ends up !

I'm high bidder on the quarter book for now image

I would have jumped in on the halves but have already paid dearly for 3 soft covers.

Misplaced one and spilled 20 ounces of coffee on the second during a power failure... That was an almost $90 cup of coffee! image
