I also picked up these two raw Ducats today.

1636 Regensburg Silver Ducat for Ferdinand III election as King of the Romans (later Holy Roman Emporer). He was also King of Hungary and Croatia, King of Bohemia and Archduke of Austria among other titles.



1764 Frankfurt Silver Ducat for Joseph II coronation as Holy Roman Emporer. Other titles included Archdule of Austria, King in Germany, King of Hungary, Croatia, Slavonia, etc. Jospeh II was a major proponent of "enlightened absolutism" and attmepted to end serfdom completely in his reign.

Sorry, linked the second one to the wrong photo. I think they would both grade Ch. AU-Unc, the Frankfurt is a little weakly struck and both have a few hairlines but both have good luster. I'll prrobably send them both in with my next batch so we'll see.
