John Franklin Coins in San Diego,CA. Raw coins question.

FairlanemanFairlaneman Posts: 10,408 ✭✭✭✭✭
How are they for grading? The pictures they have on the web site and eBay are terrible. PM with comments if you do not want to post them here.

They have a coin I want very badly.

Thanks Much.

I'm from SAN; and I've never heard of them, or dealt with them. That isn't to say they aren't a reputable business. Maybe Coinguy1 can help out here?

John Franklin LLC used to set up at all the So Cal shows big and small for a few years, but I haven't heard much from them recently. As for their raw coin grading, everybody sees coins differently and a coin that appears accurately graded to some may not seem that way to someone else.
