Dealing With Counterfeits

I received an email today from a customer which I will post here:

""Hi Tom, This email is for the two Chinese xxxxx coins. Could you please hide the PCGS certification numbers if you still want to show them on your web site? Some BAD people may use the info to counterfeit. Yuyxxx xxxxx"""

My reply:
""""Hi,we are aware of what they are doing and while I think it may be a good idea to disguise at least part of the serial number, it's still yet one more process that my web person will have to go thru when entering info on the websites. I will post the question on pcgs forums and see what the consensus comes up with. Thank you, Tom """

The email is regarding a couple of Chinese coins but it's obviously relevant to all coins.

What say you? What can we and/or should we do?
