Nice coin. Looks au50 or so. What are those white things attached to it? image

Hmmm...Hey RYK...what kind of holder is it in? image
Also, can you move the CC a bit to the right for me? Just looks off center. Mmmmkay, thanks.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I just got back from a coiffure from Antonio, and I almost fell off my chair when I logged back in and thought that RYK bought a dog of a coin. I am relieved to see that it is an [excessively] dirty original gold coin. image

And an excessively prominent lurker-friend asks:

Will you be unleashing your DOG from the Nasty Grading Company holder?

The coin is an NGC AU-53 (CAC) holder. While I prefer my coins to be in PCGS holders, I am okay with $10's and $20's in NGC holders. It is tempting to try a Secure Plus cross with a minimum grade of 50+. image

Man, I can see that thing going down on the table in a high stakes poker game between Adam Cartright and one of the town bad guys over in Virginia City.

Shame the 4 portions of the flea collar are hindering the image image

    First observation-

This is a coin that almost illustrates what I have been attempting to communicate on this forum for years-

    Second Observation-

This is a terrific example for the date and in my view it is surprising that the obverse seems better than the reverse which in the final analysis helps the overal grade of the coin
