Vintage Golf clubs- persimmon head woods 1950s

Any vintage golf club experts out there?

I have some MacGregor, Wilson and Spalding persimmon head woods- Likely in age from late 1940s through the early 1960s. The Spalding set seems to be in the best shape-

  • Are any of the clubs signed (manufactured) by a golfer? Example: Sam Snead maybe?

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have anything of great value but let me know if you have more information and I can check an equipment book I have. Even old wood shafted clubs often aren't what you think they should be.
