In honor of the 25th anniversary of PCGS next year.........

Should there be a general amnesty of former members who were banned? They could apply for reinstatement as forum members, perhaps on a probationary basis? Good idea or not?

Is there a sense that some members got booted for marginal reasons? Or was exile clearly deserved?

If the latter then it may not be such a good idea. People rarely change their nature much.

How many that reapplied under a new identify have been booted out again?

Who holds the record for alts getting the axe?

coinguy1, anaconda---After you guys got booted, how difficult was it for you to get reinstated? What did you have to do or what steps did you take to get reinstated? I figure since there were precedents established, there must be hope for those that didn't burn their bridges on their way out.

No, and why would the 25th anniversary be the time to do that? Is that like when the President pardons a turkey on thanksgiving? If so, then only one turkey gets the pardon. Everyone else stays banned.

In many countries, on special occasions such as the coronation of a new monarch or on a special anniversary, the government will proclaim a general amnesty and release non-violent prisioners who have served most of their sentence as part of the celebration. This is what I was thinking when I started this thread but I guess it went over a few people's heads.

No way. Honestly I can't think of a single banned member who I'd want to see back.

Coinguy1 was banned. Aren't you glad he's back? I'm glad he's back posting here and I think he's a real asset. I'd also like to see Conder and Legend come back.

    How do you get banned?
    Vulgarity?
    Rudeness?
