NO half dime is considered a widget. You are hereby banished from Halfdimeland, a small nation in northern New England whose president is Mr. HalfDime.
The toning is very nice, though the coin may have been dipped long ago, as many nicely toned Seated coins were. The 1873 is a little tougher to find than the 1872 and 1872-S coins, which really are common dates. It's interesting that there are no "Open 3" and "Closed 3" varieties for the half dimes, as there are with dimes, quarters, and halves.
