I noticed that NGC holders designate the coin on the label as "106a single leaf", what would a pcgs holder show? I am assuming just 106--no A or "single leaf". Is ngc the best place to send? Thanks again bust experts-------BigE
Oh, also I believe the coin number for pcgs is 39516, is this the number I use on the submission form if I go with pcgs?
************* UPDATE****I called pcgs because it took you guys to long to answer **************
You use the overton coin number if you have it rather than the regular 1817 coin number
According to Noah at pcgs the coin holder will read overton "106a small leaf", not just 106
Yes, 39516 is the correct PCGS # for O-106a Single Leaf. I am pretty sure "Single Leaf" will show on the label, assuming you pay the $24 for attribution.
NGC only charges $10 for their VarietyPlus service, with everything on the label.
Both services will charge for attribution, even if the coin does not grade.
Which is better, PCGS is better for Bust series. If it grades F15, sounds like you have about a $200 coin. Of course, it will cost you around $60 for PCGS service and shipping. You might want to leave this one raw.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
You are right on mozin, those were my concerns exactly. My only hope is to hold out for a little more on the coin, I tried out Heritages new search feature last night and found there were none from pcgs with the attribution. They were a couple high grade or ngc or anacs details coins. I also noticed that variety attribution has to be on a separate pcgs form.-------------BigE

Thats a tough one to value, the single leaves are both sought after and played down at the same time.
I'm in the sought after crowd........
I payed 75 bucks for Fine at a small show in Hagerstown MD, sold it the next day for 150, thats been about a year ago.
