Dear CU Forum Gods: Ref. Icon upload day...

Dear CU Forum Gods,

I have been waiting patiently for 3 months for Icon upload day, and I miss it by a few minutes it seems, every single time. Could we please be granted another day to upload an icon? PLEASE?
I have been a good boy, not slammed our host, or Mr. Willis or Mr. Hall, advocate "Safe Numismatics" by buying only PCGS graded coins, and try to be nice to noobs.

Seriously, can we PLEASE have another 24 hours?

Honestly, I just don't understand this 15th-of-the-month thing. Someone said it was about CPU cycles, or bandwidth, or some such hi-tech nonsense. I hope there's a better explanation. (Usually there is, and I later regret saying things like this.)

Years ago you were free to upload them at will. Some people abused the privilege and put up inappropriate icons that had to be screened out. By making upload day once a month, it's much easier to keep track of and moderate the new ones.
