new light setup, halogen..grade revealed..

edit:
I switched from the (4) 5500k fluorescent lighting I use on gold coins and silver eagles to halogen for Morgans and Peace.
I just could not get the right look on Morgans and Peace with fluorescent lighting, they work great on all other coins so far.
Right now I only have the one Halogen at 12:00 position. I will get another and switch to 3:00 and 9:00 positions.
and now for the grade:

<< <i>s the yellow hue true to the coin in hand. If so, great pic. >>
it is as close to the true color of any coin I've shot.
MS65
It is also nice to make your coins perfectly straight in the photos.
You are well on your way.
I'll go with ms64
"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)
"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)
Sometimes I use two lamps, at 10 and 2 o'clock, usually. Gets rid of shadows and has a nice effect. Example below (MS65 for grade comparison too)
I think you'll often see a golden hue to your images of Peace dollars. White balance isn't usually enough. Correct it post-processing by removing saturation, let's say.
Do you shoot raw? How many lights are you using?
I like your coin. Straighten it!
