Members of Coin Clubs

I know there are several coin clubs out there. I don't know much about any of them, but would like to get some info if i could. I would mostly be interested in BQCS and the EAC.
If any of you are members of these clubs and know about them i would love to know what goes on. (meetings, secret handshakes, handbooks etc.) Thanks!

I am a member of the local club that meets in El Segundo, CA, and am enjoying it very much.

Over the years, I have also attended many presentations put on by the National Silver Dollar Roundtable (NSDR) at the Long Beach show. When the ANA came to Los Angeles, I also attended the Liberty Seated club meeting and the Fly-in club (Indian cents). In general, the meetings might have 8 to 30 people in attendance, usually closer to the lower number. There is a presentation of varying quality. Some presentations are extremely informative and interesting, some not so much.

Most clubs have a journal or magazine that they mail or email out.

For many clubs, anyone that pays the dues can join. For some other clubs such as the Bust Half nut club, a person has to be sponsored by an existing member, and also have an extensive collection (if I remember correctly, 50 or more, correctly attributed Bust halves that the prospective member can attribute by himself/herself).

I hope this post helps, even if it doesn't directly answer about the clubs asked about. If you can make it to an ANA show, there will be a club meeting (sometimes also at the other big shows) and you can go and find out in person. If you can't make it to the big national shows, I'm not sure how much value these national clubs will provide.

I found the link to the EAC site, didn't find one for the Bust Quarter club.

Its kinda like watching paint dry for the most part, but we have a
pretty good auction after the break............

like all groups, most people are very nice, and there are a few
people that just suck and are annoying.........

Ive found a "sub group" and we all sit at a table and share stuff
and its pretty cool. I want our club to host a coin show or something, but of
course I get shot down because "its SOOOOOOO hard", you have
to get a place , security, blah, blah, blah,.....

I think im the second youngest in my club,...im 47

we just started to stop spending money on stamps, and do our newsletter online

its like pulling teeth, but hey............
