Gold coin - bent and no date

Do you think it would holder (code 98) with PCGS?
I have a co-worker who found this coin, and some others, in his late grandfather's "tool"box in the garage before he moved here.
He knows that getting it holdered doesn't do much, but it does protect it, prove it's genuine, and is something he is ok with the cost on.
I need to pick it up from him and get a picture, but, in the meantime, with no visible date (worn off), and slightly bent, I wonder if PCGS would holder it (I would send it in as the CC Quarterly Special, but it still costs shipping each way for him).
I am guessing it is a 185x but, who knows

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
