I renewed my PCGS membership yesterday.

I went with the Gold Membership as I have 4 crossovers in mind....and that makes the member benefit a very good deal.
I am a bit confused at the following banner posted in my account.



1. Auto Renew?? Who's paying for that?
2. Since #1 is satisfied, why the need to renew #2?
3. Wonder what happens once the 'cancel' button is hit?
4. Anyone else renewing soon?

You would not believe what I went through renewing my membership. I had platinum last year but requested silver this year. They gave me two platinum memberships instead of the silver. It took me a month to get my money back.

I plan on renewing here real soon, hope they get the mess all fixed. Makes me a little nervous.

I renewed a couple of days ago and same screen.

I think it will autorenew if you do not cancel it.

I too was confused. I think I ended up mailing in my renewal.

I'm waiting for the big announcement before renewing. I'd hate to miss out on a new slab if that is in the works.

at least for 2) there is no "auto renew" mentioned, so I assume it is a "manual renew"

For #1) .... if you let it auto-renew... you are, but
3) ... "cancel?" I couldn't feel comfortable saying it is cancelling the auto-renew or the membership without first huntingdown if they pro-rate refunding the fees if it is cancelled.


4) too late for me... I'm in your position.

gonna wait until Apr before renewing.......see what they have to say on the 21st.

maybe DW is shaking his head thinking "use common sense" ...
cancel will cancel the membership.
I guess the funky feelings in me comes from the gut reaction to: but I don't want to auto-renew.... cancel that.
