I've thought the same thing myself. Didn't know him, but sure seemed like a solid guy, what with his selling off to care for his kids tuitions. He seemed like a guy with his head on straight.

Actually, it appears LVT last showed up in Jan of '10.

Wasn't he taking a temp break from his collecting (I remember his selling his MPL's for his kids). He did have a great eye fir, and a great set of, MPL's.

And not to hijack chaze's thread but I'll be following it since I'm heading to Phoenix in the near future and wouldn't mind stopping by a coin shop in the Glendale-Peoria area.
