Is this PVC damage?

Almost all the cents in this tube have spots; some rounded and some with a finger print look. Is this from the tube they have been stored in?

Edit: If it is, would a bath in acetone help any?

It does not look like PVC, looks like a bunch of carbon spots.

Agreed. It's also highly doubtful the tube is PVC.

Doesn't look like PVC to me.
Does, however, look like a nice crack in Lincolns head!

Very common and caused by frequently handeling the coins in the roll.

Fot the die break are you refering to that running to Lincolns mouth or the one in the forehead? This roll has a number of cents with severe die cracks in the forehead; one more reason for being bumed-out over the carbon and prints. Is there an acceptable cure for the prints?
