Just found a Jackpot left to me by my Mother

Okay, to some of you, this may not be an actual "Gold" jackpot or burried treasure from the sunken ships of the sea Jackpot.
Instead, it's a personal jackpot that made me very shocked and happy all at the same time..
So, to start,
My mother gave me this red purse of hers(very tiny, it's an old one) that had a bunch of coins in it back in 2007.
I never appreciated coins back then so to me, they were just coins. Nothing more , nothing less.
Well, ever since I moved to California, I thought I lost the red purse!
Turns out, it was hiding in the back of one of my cabinet drawers and when I found it last night, I was so happy.
When I opened it, I was even happier.
Here are the contents of this true, "Mixed bag of fruits":
My first ever 1 ounce silver bar bought at $11.00 from Mike P of Yankee Coin back in '07 (Madison Mint)
3x Peace Dollars (No keys)
2x Morgan Dollars(No key dates just commons)
1x War Nickel
7x Washington Silver quarters pre-64
1x Merc dime
1x Walking Liberty
A bunch of gold plated Sac dollars
A bunch of Kennedy halves(No silver ones)
and about 6x Buffalo nickels.
Also, I found a token that was made for our old dog, "Lady" which was a little sentimental because we lost her many years ago and that token really reminded me of the good ole days..
Anyway folks, I think I did well and now since my paradigm is so different I can actually appreciate these coins.. It's amazing how I once never even cared for this stuff and now I do and I almost had a field day last night checking them out.

p.s. If you have a collection and your wife/husband doesn't know much about coins then don't leave the coins in the safe deposit box, unless you leave a note with them.

my interest. There were hundreds of mercury dimes, Morgans, coins
from all sorts of foreign countries and lots of wheat cents. They were
mostly common & some worn, but they were her little treasures!

He found ways to provide for his family that focused on love and a instilling fantastic family value that lives on today. He immigrated to this country from Kratzner, Russia via Ellis Island.
He managed to save this coin and pass down to mom. I sent it in for slabbing thinking it would come back as genuine and came back to my surprise as AU53.
It is now preserved for life as I will pass it down to one of my kids with the story in tact. A pretty cool remembrance for me and a treasured family coin.
my mom gave me a small box of coins when I was a youngster that I still have. it just has a bunch of unc bicentennial halves and unc SBA dollars. Nothing of value, but still sort of cool and I'll keep them for awhile.
