I've been meaning to share these - neat little group of love tokens

I stumbled upon these a couple of months ago in one of my eBay searches, the auction described them not as love tokens but as "artistic dimes," which allowed me to snag the group for a very reasonable price. I believe all but the coin on the bottom left were created by the same artist. How unusual is it to have a group like this from a single person?

  • I agree, looks like 5 out of the 6 were done by the same person. Good quality engraving!

    Also, looks like the 1853 had a clasp or something soldered on the obverse at one point.
