Anyone Remember a few weeks ago that 1921 Morgan a few of thought was Counterfeit?

    For those of us who missed the orig thread was there a reason for slabbing a $15 Morgan that looks to be at worst counterfeit or at best a polished VF? Rare VAM? Former Proof?

    I'm just a little foolish that way.
    Seriously, I'll send in the normal stuff- coins that I'll eventually sell, but always like to toss in a couple per submission that sort of gives me then something to look forward too.

    The last batch was an Ike dollar that graded out AG3.
    Before that, this Morgan and a 1970-S Small date Lincoln I thought had a decent shot at getting into a regular holder albeit the color was a wild pink and lavender.

    Again, it's nonsense to send some of this stuff in, but it's a cheap thrill*.

    Pictures certainly can be deceiving.

    That's why it's virtually impossible to even try to grade using them.
