Not exactly darkside, but a 1936 Canadian dot cent will be appearing in the January Heritage sale:

What a difference a dot can make...
    Like a missing comma,

    a dot overlooked
    or a feature of hair
    can bring sky-high bidding
    on coins considered quite rare.

    The rub on a cheek,
    perhaps a polishing line,
mayhap the strikes a little weak,
    on your coin (not mine).

    That edge is a razor
    with detail quite sharp.
    That well-struck instrument
    is an Hibernian harp.

    Oh the reasons
    we collect the coins
    that we do
    are as numerous
    as stars,
    for details accrue.image

If I were going to pay six figures for a punctuation mark, I'd try to pick a more interesting one. Perhaps a question mark would be an appropriate choice.

I'm sorta partial to ampersands myself.

I never pay too much for my tokens...but every now and then I may buy them too soon.
