Collectors club grade is in on the new 3rd 2009 cent.

I don't know what I am missing but this coin had one small nick, no spots and I knew it had to be a Ms 67.. Grade was PCGS MS 66 Rd. Hope to get pics for you guys to see when it comes home..

P.S. Nice strike, Heavy color/prooflike and also no problems.. The experts will get to look at this coin at next big show to tell me why.. Thanks God it was a Collectors clubs special.. I even paid more insurance because I had 2 other dealers/collectors look at it and thought since 67/68 money would be fair to PCGS to insure it back..But no beans MS 66.

I think the plancent quality limits the grade on many of the business strike coins at this time. Lower stricking pressures for the high speed presses and plancent rolls that are not that smooth.
There was a program on TV last night and I was amassed at how fast the coins come out ot the modern presses.

MS67 is a threshhold for Lincolns. Even deserving coins aren't always given the grade.
