Not a big deal but, I still love finding nice Cam/ Dcams in sealed sets......

Found this one a couple days ago........

Edited to add....The early 70's and back.....these were the days when Cams and Dcams were special, not like the "Snakeskin Cams and Dcams "19Lyds image" we get now !

coin is fake, its one of the foil covered chocolate coins. Washington quarters just don't look that good.
although its bound for a DCAM MS67 OR 8 slab I bet.

real good image and a stunning coin.

  • That just never gets old! Super mirror like fields, ultra frosty devices. Really very hard to find in sealed sets. Congrats and thanks for sharing!

    I fully agree!

The refined art of creating DCAMs has somehow lessened the WOW factor of these coins in that often times, that cameo finish actually slides off the devices and into the field.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

What the hell are you clowns looking at, there is frost missing 11 o`clock just above the three, missing frost just above the three at 12 oclock, the coin is covered in milk spots obverse with a few more reverse, not to mention the coin is covered in haze not a good sign for a DCAM, or even Cam at that point. The left side of the upper wing inner point has lost its frost, you have at best a DCAM 67 and that is pushing the limits on a common coin with so so eye appeal and you all think it its a beauty...a beauty is a true DCAM with no spots or haze...I have to disagree the coin is a so so find, with no dollar reward, you need to truly understand DCAMs to appreciate a DCAM coin that is not even close. A "find" yes I agree on that point fun finding cam or dcam but that coin is run of the mill and very typical of a true collector passing on so so piece...wake up and understand what DCAM really means...you guys aren`t even close....
