I don't collect British medals at all, but I saw this on eBay and I had to put in a bid just to find out if the seller's pics were accurate. Yup, they certainly were. These are my pics and they don't capture the nice iridescence of the blue-toned areas, but they're ok otherwise.
This is a medal for the Royal Agricultural Society of England. It is engraved on the edge as awarded to MRS. M.C. INGE. FIRST PRIZE. WELSH PONIES. 51 mm. 55.1 grams. I'm pretty sure it must be gilt silver, because I can't explain the color otherwise. With its original box, too.
